Mount Saint Mary's University is a private, independent, Catholic liberal arts college, primarily for women, in Los Angeles, California, United States. It was founded in 1925 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The Mount Saint Mary’s University has two lovely campuses and a professional film studio in Southern California. The Chalon Campus, primarily for women, is located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles and overlooks the J. Paul Getty Center, the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The Doheny Campus, for men and women are located near downtown Los Angeles.  Also, it has its own film studio located in Hollywood.

Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, offers undergraduate programs in more than 30 majors and concentrations. Students may also choose a minor to enhance their academic experience and credentials earned at graduation. The sciences, nursing, business, and film programs are popular majors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

International students are eligible for a substantial international scholarship.
