GISMA, or the German International Graduate School of Management and Administration, was founded by the former Gerhard Schroder, in 1999. GISMA was founded with the purpose of offering internationally recognized academic management education in Germany, allowing students to reap the benefits of an international education offered in a German environment. Mainly it offers postgraduate programs including Master studies and MBA. Since 2011, GISMA MBA’s programs have been accredited by Association of MBA’s (AMBA).
GISMA was founded with the help of the State of Lower Saxony and several large companies located in and around Lower Saxony, such as Continental, Georgsmarienhutte, Nord/LB, Siemens, TUI and Volkswagen. Moreover, in January 2016 GISMA opened its new campus in Berlin. Nonetheless, GISMA offers its degrees in partnership with Grenoble Graduate School of Management, Porto Business school, Arden University and The University of Law.
GISMA also runs a University Pathway Program with duration of 40 weeks, offered by The Language Gallery at both campuses.
